Terms of Service

Effective 30 June 2026

These terms govern your use of anása (the "app"), provided by [anása data controller — FILL IN]. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

1. The service

anása offers guided meditation, breath work, stress-relief practices, sounds, and a private journal. It is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Not medical advice

anása is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. If you have a medical or mental-health concern, please speak to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 (EEA) or 13 (elsewhere) to use anasa.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to access other users' data or our backend.
  • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the app or its content.
  • Don't upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content into journal entries.
  • Don't use the app to harass others or violate third-party rights.

5. Content you create

You keep ownership of the journal and mood entries you write. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display them back to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. Our content

Meditations, exercises, sounds, copy, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are provided under a personal, non-transferable license while your account is active.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

If the app offers paid features, billing terms and refund policy are shown at the point of purchase and governed by the rules of the platform (Apple App Store / Google Play / web payment provider).

8. Termination

You can delete your account from your profile at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms others.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss caused by reliance on the app for medical decisions.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged and require you to re-accept on next sign-in.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country/region — FILL IN]. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
